Our Mission

Ten Lives Cat Rescue is committed to saving homeless, abused, and abandoned cats by providing veterinary care, rehabilitation services, and then placing them into loving adoptive homes. We are dedicated to giving a second chance to those who have been forgotten: seniors, the physically and emotionally scarred, the behaviorally challenged, and those who need critical medical care. Along with our immediate mission to rescue cats, Ten Lives is dedicated to educating communities about cat overpopulation and inspiring change.

Our Program

Ten Lives Cat Rescue is a 501(c)(3), nonprofit organization located in Rhode Island. Our program is 100% volunteer-powered and rescues cats from Woonsocket to Westerly. We do not have a facility or shelter, and all of our cats reside in foster homes until adopted. Ten Lives does not receive state or city funding and all of our life-changing funds come from generous supporters who believe in our mission statement. Since May 2018, Ten Lives has rescued and provided care to over 1,700 cats, facilitated over 1,300 adoptions, and provided vital services to 350 owned cats!
