Rhode Island residents who earn less than $50,000 per year qualify for a low-cost voucher. If you can afford the full fee, we kindly ask that you contact a local spay/neuter clinic to schedule an appointment. Vouchers are not available to shelters or rescues.
The voucher includes spay/neuter surgery, age-appropriate vaccinations, and microchip. Additional services/charges are the responsibility of the owner.
Yes, recipients can receive more than one voucher if they have multiple cats.
Cats must be at least 3 months old.
Appointment wait times may be 1-4 months. This is common for high-volume spay/neuter clinics. Please be patient!
During the 2024-2025 cycle, vouchers can be redeemed at Potter League Spay & Neuter Clinic in Warwick, RI, or Providence Animal Rescue League in Providence, RI. You will be assigned a clinic based on current wait times.
Vouchers are valid for one year from issue date.
